Celebrating Easter secretly

This memory is about celebrating Easter secretly. Once when I was planning to miss school on Friday as my family was going to celebrate Easter in West Georgia, I clearly remember how my teacher begged me not to repeat this outload again. Repeat not what? Why? I was confused, but I was just told to stay silent about this. I respected and trusted my teachers, and I loved my family’s celebrations and since that day I was totally lost and could not understand what was this all about. My dad’s answer - you will grow up and understand, for now just don’t say everything at school - did not help at all and left me in full confusion until 1989, when April 9th tragedy happened (Soviet Army killing peaceful Anti-USSR protestors) and Georgia officially demanded independence from USSR and its ideology.
